EBR searching for Head Start teachers, assistants
BATON ROUGE - East Baton Rouge is searching for Head Start teachers, aides, social workers and others who want to make a difference in the lives of children.
They could fill as many as twenty positions Friday at a special job fair. City-Parish Division of Human Development and Services Director Paula Roddy joined us Wednesday on 2une In with all the details.
"This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a position in education," Roddy explained. "If you're a recent graduate, a seasoned person or even retired from another system, you may want to consider working for the city-parish."
The East Baton Rouge Head Start Program is teaming with EmployBR in hopes of immediately filling vacant positions. The EBR Head Start Job Fair is Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Head Start Administrative Building at 4523 Plank Road in Baton Rouge.
