Driver of overturned 18-wheeler describes wreck
WALKER- An 18-Wheeler carrying snack cakes and muffins overturned causing traffic problems on I-12 for hours.
The driver was not badly hurt.
"The vehicle in front of him came into his lane of travel and he made a defensive movement and caused him to hit the shoulder and overturn," said Chief Hunter Grimes of Walker Police.
The cargo had to unloaded by hand before the truck could be righted.
Walker Police say they'll wait until traffic dies down before they shut down a lane on the interstate to tow away the truck.
