Dr. Stephens on 'No Touch' breast augmentation technique
BATON ROUGE - Plastic surgeon Dr. J. Anthony Stephens appeared on News 2 at 4 on Thursday afternoon to provide some information on an improved method for breast augmentation procedures that leaves patients with less scarring and an overall better experience for their cosmetic surgery.
In the attached video, Dr. Stephens talks about a device called a "Keller Funnel" that he says makes a world of difference in the trauma and resulting recovery time associated with getting breast implants. Among the benefits of using the device during a procedure are shorter incision lengths (which can reduce unattractive scarring), faster healing time and overall less trauma on patient tissue. Using the device also increases options for implant placement and other aesthetic considerations.
For more about the specifics about how the device and technique improve the experience for elective surgery patients, check out the attached video. For more about Dr. Stephens practice, be sure to check out his website at www.doctorstephens.com.
