Detectives looking for missing teen
GONZALES - The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office is searching for 16-year-old Allisyn Bracy. She was last seen April 28 at her home in Gonzales.
Detectives believe Bracy is in Donaldsonville, after her family received text messages from her phone.
To her family, Bracy is a normal, happy kid.
"She's a good girl, never had problems with her," said her mother, Sara Bracy.
The family has received a number of texts from her phone saying "I love you," and "I'm fine," but when they dial her number, her phone is off.
Detectives say they have tried to trace her number, but her prepaid phone will not pick up a signal.
"Return home, we're going to be waiting for you," said Bracy. "Look how we are feeling because you are not here."
Bracy is 5'8" tall, and weighs 145-pounds. It is unknown what she was last wearing.
Anyone with information as to her whereabouts should contact the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office at 225-621-4636.
