Crime victims recognized tonight in Baton Rouge
BATON ROUGE - National Crime Victims' Rights Week will be recognized tonight in Baton Rouge.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office is hosting its 3rd annual Flowers on the Lake event at 6:00 p.m. at the BREC Park located at 3140 N. Sherwood Forest Drive
During this ceremony victims and those affected by crime will place flowers on the lake in remembrance and recognition of victims of crime. EBR Sheriff Sid Gautreaux, EBR District Attorney Hillar Moore and U.S. Attorney Don Cazayoux will be in attendance.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend and bring a flower for victims.
