Cooking up an end to domestic violence
BATON ROUGE - According to the National Coalition of Domestic Violence, 1.3 million women in the United States are victims of domestic violence each year. IRIS Director Judy Benitez visited 2une In Monday morning to tell you how you can help them fight domestic violence.
The Women Chefs' Show Off is coming up on Thursday, March 20th from 6:00-9:00 pm at the Belle of Baton Rouge Atrium. There will be all you can eat food, live music and both Live and Silent Auctions to raise awareness and funds for the Iris Domestic Violence Center.
