Child with terminal cancer on a mission to feed the hungry
DENHAM SPRINGS- A 10-year-old boy is on a mission to collect food for the homeless and hungry in the Baton Rouge area. But, Trevor Sims is battling cancer and is worried he won't survive long enough to meet his goals.
"I guess, I'm ready; I'm ready to see my grandma," Sims told WBRZ News 2 anchor Sylvia Weatherspoon recently for her segment "2 Make A Difference."
Trevor is asking for help collecting food items. He has partnered with the Baton Rouge Food Bank.
There is a collection on September 1-7. Click HERE for more information.
