Chef KD's stuffed shrimp
BATON ROUGE - Chef KD showed off an old family recipe for stuffed shrimp today on News 2 at 4.
He started by making the stuffing, which involved sauteeing onions and crab meat with some butter before adding bread crumbs, parsley tops, and green onion to the mix.
KD then showed how to properly butterfly shrimp, and rolled the combined stuffing and shrimp in more bread crumbs to make the batter.
He said the resulting shrimp can be either deep-fried, or baked.
