Browned sweet-and-spicy pork with diced eggplant
BATON ROUGE - Chef KD showed a simple way to prepare a flavor-filled pork dish for Tasty Tuesday on News 2 at 4.
He first browned bone-in pork chops with onions before adding in the sweet and spicy: some fig preserves and hot sauce. He also said you can modify the dish by swapping in whatever sweet or spicy element you want or have at hand.
He then added diced eggplant with some water and allowed the mix to reduce.
