BATON ROUGE - LSU head coach Les Miles told media members Wednesday that Jeryl Brazil, former Loranger Wolf and current LSU running back, has been suspended from the team indefinitely.
Miles also added that he did not travel with the team last week to Ole Miss, a game in which the Tigers lost 27-24 in Oxford, Ms.
This comes after Brazil's second arrest in as many months.LSU Police arrested the 19-year-old back on Friday, Oct. 18, after they said he grabbed a woman by the neck, shoved her into a sofa and punched a hole in the wall of her apartment.
Police arrested Brazil at the same apartment complex and issued him a midemeanor summons for simple battery and simple criminal damage to property.
Brazil received another misdemeanor summons back on Sept. 11 when police said he fought someone behind a dining hall on the LSU campus.
