best in the west quarterbacks
BATON ROUGE - Nick Marshall recently got himself into trouble, but Auburn's starting quarterback could still be the best in the SEC west this year.
Marshall was cited for misdemeanor possession of marijuana on Friday and won't attend his scheduled press conference at SEC Media days on Monday.
Depending on how head coach Gus Malzahn chooses to penalize his quarterback, Marshall should likely still have the ability to follow up his 2013 breakout campaign with another big year in 2014.
