After kid was jumped, fans see more security at football games

BATON ROUGE - Fans attending Thursday night's Broadmoor High School homecoming football game said there was an obvious presence of law enforcement officers.
The show of force came after a promise from East Baton Rouge Parish School System Superintendent Warren Drake. Drake said deputies will be seen at all home games after a 12-year-old was attacked at a game last week.
"I'm glad to see all the extra officers and feel protected," a fan said at the game Thursday night. "That's very shocking for that to be going on like that. It should be a place you come and enjoy, but you know the time and place we're living in."
A dozen deputies will be at games across the parish. Thursday night was the first night of football since the attack at Scotlandville a week earlier.
The boy, Quinton Robinson, spent four days in ICU after he was jumped. His family spoke to WBRZ News 2 twice since. Most recently, they said he was at home and resting.
