Accused serial killer Ryan Sharpe pleads not guilty in court

UPDATE: Accused serial killer Ryan Sharpe has pleaded not guilty in one of three deadly shootings he was allegedly responsible for in 2017.

Sharpe had been indicted in East Baton Rouge Parish for the murder of Carroll Breeden, who was shot outside his home in Pride, according to District Attorney Hillar Moore. Sharpe entered a not guilty plea in Breeden's death Thursday.

The next court date in EBR has not yet been set.

Sharpe was previously indicted for the murders of two other men and the attempted murder of a third in East Feliciana.

EAST FELICIANA- Today alleged East Feliciana Parish serial killer Ryan Sharpe heads to court for arraignment in the case of Brad DeFranceschi.

Sharpe is accused of killing three men and injuring another in a string of shootings last fall. Last year, Sharpe pleaded not guilty in the murder of Tommy Bass and the attempted murder of Buck Hornsby.

A grand jury still has to meet to hear the case of East Baton Rouge murder victim Carroll Breeden.
