BATON ROUGE - One Powerball player winner is holding on to a $1 million ticket sold in Baton Rouge from this weekend's drawing.

Louisiana Lottery officials said the million-dollar ticket was sold at Matherne's Supermarket on Bluebonnet and matched all five white numbers while missing the Powerball.

"We're waiting to see if it's one of our regular customers that won," said store manager Tim Stevens on Monday. "We have people that play pretty much every day with us."

The odds of matching all five white Powerball numbers is greater than 1 in 5 million. Stevens said there was a long line of players ready to try their luck this weekend.

"We actually had to call the lottery office to see if we could get more ticket paper," he said.

The store will receive a $10,000 prize for selling the winning ticket. Lottery officials said nobody has stepped forward yet to claim the prize.

Two $40,000-winning Powerball tickets with Power Play were also sold in Louisiana, one in Houma and one in Delta. Louisiana also had five $10,000 winners.
