  • Deputy arrested, accused of sexual misconduct

    A former deputy with the East Feliciana Sheriff's Office was arrested and charged with malfeasance in office. Investigators say Johnny Kelly engaged in inappropriate sexual activities with a female detainee. Kelly was fired after his arrest. Investigators say no other deputies are suspected of similar activities. more »

    23-year-old Eric Martin turned himself in to East Feliciana Parish Deputies this morning. He is accused of shooting and killing 21-year-old Terrance Brooks outside Gerri's Blues Club in St. Francisville after a fight over the weekend. He will be booked into the West Feliciana Parish Jail and charged with murder. more »
