A woman died after a motorcycle crash on Highway 411 south of U.S. 190 in Pointe Coupee Parish Sunday.

State police say Amanda Burns of Zachary was headed north when she missed a curve, ran off the road, and hit several small trees.

She was thrown from her bike and killed.

Troopers do not suspect alcohol, but Burns did not have a motorcycle endorsement on her driver's license.
