Zachary loses power in storm
ZACHARY - Strong weather knocked out power to almost the entire population of Zachary Wednesday afternoon.
Entergy reported more than 6,700 people in East Baton Rouge Parish were in the dark around 3:15 p.m., with virtually all those outages in Zachary.
Strong weather has caused traffic delays and power outages around south Louisiana for the past week. Entergy estimated they should be able to return power to those customers by 5 p.m.
