ZACHARY- People who skipped court here can expect to be published on the Internet.

The police department is listing the names, ages, and offenses of people with outstanding warrants. At the end of October, the 4,000 people on the list can expect to get a visit from police.

"We'll be knocking on the door or coming to your job, which could cost you your job. We don't want to do that," chief David McDavid said.

"We are asking people now to come in and take care of your business so you don't have to look over your shoulder everyday."

Outstanding warrants can be settled at Zachary City Court.
