Youth detention center director quits amid questions over escapes and alleged police chase
BAKER- Daron Brown has resigned as director of the Jetson Center for Youth.
Brown's resignation comes amid scandal after two inmates escaped and an alleged police chase down I-10.
Brown claimed to be chasing a car with the two escapees inside, days after their escape, but they ended up not being involved. Some have questioned the reality of the chase.
A Jetson spokesperson confirmed Brown's resignation.
The two escapees were eventually caught.
