BAKER- Daron Brown has resigned as director of the Jetson Center for Youth.

Brown's resignation comes amid scandal after two inmates escaped and an alleged police chase down I-10.

Brown claimed to be chasing a car with the two escapees inside, days after their escape, but they ended up not being involved. Some have questioned the reality of the chase.

A Jetson spokesperson confirmed Brown's resignation.

The two escapees were eventually caught.
