You can Uber yourself a king cake Wednesday
BATON ROUGE - The ride-sharing service Uber will deliver king cakes on Wednesday, the official start of Carnival.
Uber announced app users can request the popular treat between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. People in Baton Rouge, Lafayette and New Orleans can request the king cakes and drivers will deliver them from Haydel's Bakery.
Uber posted on its website, "Experience the most famous Mardi Gras treats without leaving your house!"
The king cakes will cost $20 and Uber expects the cakes to go quickly.
