LIVINGSTON – Livingston Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness officials announced that the parish can remove up to 30 feet of debris on private property, however written consent is required.

Written consent must be given by the homeowner of the property. For renters, written permission from the actual property owner must be obtained as well.

According to officials, Livingston Parish debris contractors will begin coming to homes to have the forms signed in order to complete debris pick-up.

For homeowners who will not be home at the time contractors arrive, a copy of the Right of Entry Form can be completed here. Officials say homewoners who complete the form themselves must attach it to their front door for the contractor to collect.

Residents are advised to call 225-380-7391 if they have any questions regarding debris removal or the form.
