Wreck to cover burglary for guns
BURIEN, WASHINGTON- A driver crashed into a sporting goods store and police say he did it on purpose to steal guns and then tried to hide in the ceiling.
The accused thief was arrested after a four-hour stand-off with authorities.
The vehicle crashed through a metal grate and the glass doors when no employees were inside. When police investigated, the found gun cases had been disturbed and heard noises in the ceiling where they suspected the driver was hiding.
Authorities surrounded the building and eventually got the man out of the ceiling.
