Wreck in median causing I-12 East delays at Satsuma
SATSUMA - I-12 East is seeing delays at the beginning of a rainy Friday commute due to an accident involving multiple vehicles in the median.
Congestion began to build on the interstate from LA 447 to Satsuma due to the wreck, which involved an 18-wheeler and other vehicles.
As of 3:20 p.m., traffic officials tweeted that motorists could expect three mile delays in connection with the crash. As of 3:40 p.m., LA DOTD reported the queue from the incident had stretched to the LA 63 (Livingston) exit with all lanes open at that time.
