Wreck closes part of Central Thruway
BATON ROUGE - Police say a two-car crash at the intersection of S. Choctaw Dr. and Central Thruway Friday morning has shut down part of the thruway.
A car turning left onto S. Choctaw turned into the path of a truck. The truck turned on its side and slid down an embankment. No word on any injuries at this time.
Police say the southbound lanes of the Central Thruway will be closed from S. Choctaw to Florida until at least 10:00 a.m. while crews clean-up.
