'Worst Road' to get $10 million repair
BATON ROUGE- A $10 million resurfacing project is in the works for a road WBRZ viewers and WBRZ.com users ranked as one of the area's worst.
LA 1 from Plaquemine to White Castle will be fixed later this year. The street is full of potholes.
"It needs a lot of work," said driver Melvin Merritt.
There are a lot of bumps. It needs a lot of road work," he repeated.
