BATON ROUGE - The condition of three Filipino workers injured in a platform explosion last month continue to recover.

They are being treated at the Baton Rouge General Regional Burn Center. Officials say two patients have improved to serious condition. A third patient, Wilberto Ilagan, 50, is in good condition.

The fire killed two other workers. Avelino Tajonera was critically burned and died at a Baton Rouge hospital on Nov. 23.

The explosion happened as workers used a cutting torch on pipe.
