Worker resigns after Congressman's kiss goes viral
MONROE- The woman some have fingered as the source of a leaked video where Rep. Vance McAllister is seen kissing an aid has resigned, KNOE TV reported Wednesday.
Leah Gordon was the district manager at the office where McAllister kissed the woman who was not his wife. The video was a recording of security video and Gordon was one of three people who had access to it, the station reported. Last week, a pastor who was familiar with the situation also blamed Gordon for the leak.
McAllister's staff also said the House Employment Counsel and an independent firm are investigating the video leak. You can read more about Gordon and her resignation HERE.
McAllister canceled his events for the Easter break and said he will return to Congress after the recess.
