ST. GABRIEL – A truck worker has died after passing out in a tanker trailer that had contained nitrogen, according to city police.
St. Gabriel Police had been called out around 3:45 p.m. Monday to Quality Carriers on LA Highway 30. The victim was taken to a Baton Rouge hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Police have not released the victim’s identity at this time, and are still investigating how the worker wound up inside the trailer and died.
