Government Street set for quick construction
BATON ROUGE - Work will start Friday on Government Street between East and 10th Street.
The Department of Public Works for the City of Baton Rouge has worked on that section of the road off and on for the last year. But this time should be the last.
The construction is part of city wide sewerage work.
David Guillory with DPW says the work had to be done, and then done again, because specifications on the road changed.
This time the work is expected to be complete on Monday.
