Women arrested in forged prescription investigation
GONZALES - Two women accused in a forged prescription investigation in Ascension Parish are behind bars.
Detectives said Raelyn McAlister and Adrianna Sweeney, both of French Settlement, dropped off fraudulent prescriptions for Adderall at a local Ascension Parish pharmacy.
They were arrested while picking up the prescriptions.
Deputies booked McAlister and Sweeney into the Ascension Parish jail on fraud and drug possession charges.
