Woman who threatened to burn home down with people inside arrested
LABADIEVILLE - A woman was arrested after Assumption Parish deputies say she told them she planned to burn a house down with everyone inside.
Deputies say they made contact with Ann Thibodaux at her home in Labadieville after her mom and sister reported she was making harassing phone calls. When investigators spoke with her, Thibodaux told them she wanted to set a home on fire with people inside.
Thibodaux was arrested and charged with Communication of False Information of Planned Arson. Deputies at the Assumption Parish Detention Center say they searched her purse and backpack and found marijuana, meth and a glass pipe, so Thibodaux faces drug charges as well.
Her bond has not been set at the time of this post.
