Woman violently thrown out of bar still in critical condition
BAYOU PIGEON- A woman tossed out of a bar and onto a concrete parking lot remains in critical condition at a hospital following an altercation at the rural hangout Sunday morning.
The unidentified woman had bleeding in her brain and needed surgery following the incident at the Pigeon Coop in Iberville Parish. WBRZ News 2 first reported about the altercation Tuesday.
The bar owner, Caleb Thurman, was arrested on assault charges. He has since bonded out of jail.
Charges could be upgraded if the woman's recovery falters.
