Woman indicted for murder in 1984 cold case
BATON ROUGE - A grand jury indicted a woman on charges of first degree murder today in connection with a decades-old killing in Louisiana, but did not indict her accused accomplice.
The grand jury handed up an indictment for Leila Mulla, 47, who was arrested in New York this past December.
Investigators accused her and Ronald Dalton Dunnagan, 64, of Bossier City of robbing and killing Gary Kergan of Crowley around Nov. 29, 2984. Police charged both with first degree murder, robbery and criminal conspiracy.
The grand jury did not indictment Dunnagan today, but could in the future.
