Woman hit by vehicle, rushed to area hospital
BATON ROUGE- Sheriff's deputies are investigating a crash where a woman was severely injured when she was hit by a vehicle.
Investigators said the woman was standing along Tigerbend when she was hit. The crash happened about 8:20 Friday night.
Part of the roadway was closed.
The victim was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
Names of those involved have not been released.
