ANGOLA - A 41-year-old New Orleans woman remains in the West Feliciana Parish after her arrest on drug counts at Louisiana State Penitentiary.

Maj. Archer Lee says Sharon T. Richards was booked on five felony counts Monday after she attempted to enter the Angola prison with quantities of heroin, marijuana, Dilaudid and Oxycontin concealed on her person.

Lee says Richards was booked with introduction of contraband into a penal institution and counts of possession with intent to distribute each of the four drugs found on her.
