Woman gets house arrest in murder for hire case
A 46-year-old Eunice woman has been sentenced to three years' house arrest after agreeing to plead no contest to charges of attempting to hire a hit man to kill her estranged husband and his new girlfriend.
The judge says the victims Logan Fournerat and Lori Beth Johnson requested the home incarceration.
Glynis Ann Fournerat was arrested in October after officers received a tip she was allegedly trying to hire a hit man.
A deputy, posing as a hit man, then met with Fournerat who allegedly offered him $8,000 to commit the double murder.
