Woman from Holden killed in head-on collision

WALKER, La.- A woman from Holden died in a head-on collision. It happened on LA 447 south of I-12 in Livingston Parish yesterday evening.
Louisiana State Police say 50-year-old Trudy Hebert died after crossing the center line and crashing head-on into an oncoming truck. Her car rolled off the road, landing on its roof in a ditch.
The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Troopers are investigating the crash, and do not believe impairment was a factor.
