WBRZ - Baton Rouge

NEW YORK- A woman holding a baby plunged eight stories out of an apartment building in New York City and died, but the child survived. Police found the body of the 45-year-old woman with the baby in her arms. The baby is listed in critical condition and is believed to be about ten months-old. The apartment window was wide open and police say there was no sign of a struggle inside. They also say there were no safety bars on the windows of the building in Manhattan.
