An 87-year-old Ruston woman died in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 20 in Lincoln Parish.

State police say Hattie Nelson, who was a passenger in Litha Ewing's car, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ewing was transported to Ruston hospital with moderate injuries.

Troopers say the car ran off the highway, rolled over and struck a tree on the passenger side.
