Thibodaux Police arrested a woman for child cruelty.

Police say Courtney Berry allegedly had her fourteen-year-old son bind her seven-year-old's hands with a belt and then beat him with a belt and wire hanger.

Berry then allegedly made the seven-year-old boy kneel on rice.

Police say a nine-year-old girl also told detectives that Berry whipped her with a belt and wire hanger.

Berry is booked with two counts of cruelty to juveniles, and could face more charges.

Her bond was set at $75,000.

Berry's fourteen-year-old brother could also face criminal charges.
