Woman booked on molestation counts
BAKER- Police have arrested a 43-year-old woman accused of molesting a juvenile boy at a Baker group home.
Baker Police Chief Mike Knaps tells The Advocate Cynthia Haynes of Baton Rouge was booked into Parish Prison Monday on five counts of molestation of a juvenile.
Knaps said Haynes was accused of having sexual contact with a juvenile she supervised while working as a staff member in 2011 at Drusilla's Place boys group home.
He says the boy was removed from the group home, and Haynes had been terminated before her arrest.
It couldn't be determined if Haynes had an attorney.
