Woman booked in road rage incident
WALKER - Police said a woman was arrested last week, accused of pulling a gun in a road rage incident.
Details of the arrest were released Tuesday. Rachel Ferguson, 35, was booked into jail on July 31st. She bonded out the same day, officers said.
Ferguson was charged with aggravated assault. Police said she brandished a black pistol while confronting a driver about their driving.
Investigators said part of the argument was posted on social media, and people identified the suspect. Officers said they matched descriptions and the vehicle to Ferguson.
"After providing us with her side of the story, Ms. Ferguson admitted to brandishing the firearm, at which point she was placed under arrest," Captain John Sharp said in a news release.
Ferguson's bond was set at $10,000.
