BATON ROUGE- A Baton Rouge woman has been arrested after deputies say she stabbed her boyfriend to death.

Lisa Stewart was booked into Parish Prison with second-degree murder.

The crime happened around 2 a.m. Monday in the 16000 block of S. Harrell's Ferry Road.

Deputies responded to a 911 call in which a woman said she stabbed her boyfriend with a knife. They found 34-year-old George Taylor dead inside the residence.

Detectives said Stewart told them she and Taylor argued after a night out drinking with friends and she stabbed him with a steak knife, according to arrest records.
