Woman arrested after cinder block used in beating
MONROE - A 49-year-old Monroe woman has been arrested after allegedly using a cinder block to batter a victim.
Pamela Tugler was booked at Ouachita Correctional Center Tuesday night on charges of aggravated battery and disturbing the peace.
An affidavit says she hit the victim many times in the head and face with a 3 pound cinder block.
Police said Tugler appeared to be drunk, with a strong order of alcohol on her breath and slurred speech.
Tugler denied the allegations, but police said the cinder block was found in plain sight on her living room floor.
