Woman accused of using stolen checks
NEW ROADS - Investigators in Pointe Coupee Parish released photos Thursday of a woman detectives said has been using stolen checks to go on a buying spree across south Louisiana.
Sheriff's deputies said the checks had been stolen from Pointe Coupee Parish, and were being used to make purchases from Baton Rouge to New Orleans.
