Woman accused of trying to hire hit man to kill husband
TANGIPAHOA- Authorities say a woman accused of trying to hire a hit man to kill her husband was arrested as she tried to climb out the rear window of a mobile home in the village of Tangipahoa.
The state Attorney General's Office and the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office said Wednesday that 39-year-old Trina Annette Tyler was booked Tuesday with two counts of solicitation for murder.
Their news release did not identify the second allegedly intended victim.
It was not clear whether Tyler had an attorney who could comment.
Attorney general's spokeswoman Laura Gerdes Colligan says Tyler's also wanted for violating parole in Texas, where she was convicted of possessing cocaine and laundering money. She says Tyler ultimately will be extradited to Texas.
