Woman accused of tossing toddler from moving car
WINNSBORO - Authorities say a 23-year-old Winnsboro woman is facing attempted second-degree murder charges after allegedly tossing her daughter from a moving vehicle.
Franklin Parish sheriff's deputies arrested Lasasha Allen Sunday after she sought medical treatment for her 20-month-old daughter's injuries, which include a fractured skull and several broken bones.
The girl is in stable condition at University Health Shreveport.
Sheriff Kevin Cobb tells says Allen told investigators different accounts of the incident.
It was unclear whether Allen has an attorney.
