Woman accused of sleeping with 16-year-old
BATON ROUGE - Sheriff's deputies arrested an East Baton Rouge woman after investigators said she had sex with a 16-year-old boy while she was drunk.
Deputies charged 34-year-old Delisha Barg with carnal knowledge of a juvenile after her arrest Monday.
Investigators said the boy's parent first contacted them about the incident, which happened on Dec. 20. During an interview the boy told detectives the woman was an acquaintance of his mother's whom he had walked home.
Deputies said the boy told them the woman was very drunk, stumbling as he walked her to her house. He said Barg came onto him and had him take her to her room and help her get undressed. The boy said she kissed him, and after he got her undressed he had sex with her. He told deputies he left when Barg's son woke up and started banging on her door to find out what was going on.
Detectives said Barg refused to answer questions without a lawyer present. They arrested her later Monday, and said she told them she didn't remember the boy even being at her house.
Deputies booked Barg into the parish jail on the carnal knowledge charge, as well as an open warrant for a seat belt violation.
