Woman accused of lighting boyfriend's car on fire
BATON ROUGE - Firefighters accused a White Castle woman of setting her boyfriend's sports car on fire after a fight this week.
Erin Marie Robinson, 20, was charged with simple arson after the incident Monday night.
Investigators said Robinson was seen on video walking away from her boyfriend's car after a fight with him. Firefighters said they could see smoke coming out of the car as well.
Authorities questioned Robinson, and said she admitted to setting fire to the driver's seat with a cigarette lighter.
She was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Jail and given a $5,000 bond.
