Woman accused of burning BF's clothes, house
BAYOU VISTA - Authorities say a 29-year-old Bayou Vista woman has been booked with simple arson after she set her boyfriend's clothes on fire in her home.
St. Mary Parish sheriff's Lt. Sennet Wiggins says Robyn Blanc was booked Thursday with simple arson. Wiggins told The Daily Review Blanc did not make any admissions as to the motive for the fire.
Bayou Vista firefighter Josh Ashley says there were no injuries, but a dog was killed in the blaze. Ashley said Blanc wasn't home when firefighters arrived.
He says the fire caused significant damage to the home.
It was unclear whether Blanc has an attorney.
